Mark Egan serves as director, new site development at Vantage Data Centers. He is responsible for leading the teams who maintain real estate due diligence, development and pre-construction for new sites across North America. In addition, Egan leads the team responsible for power and fiber acquisition for new site developments.
Egan has more than 14 years of experience in real estate development, data center design, site selection, critical systems engineering and much more relating to data center business solutions. Prior to Vantage, he led global colocation data center audit programs and mapped data center capacity needs for Amazon Web Services as a technical operations engineer.
Egan holds a Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering, from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. As part of his focus on structural and electrical engineering, he has earned multiple certifications including EIT (Electrical), NY State, ITIL V3 Foundation and Prince2 Foundation.
